The Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Abington Public Library promote knowledge of the functions, resources, services and needs of the Abington Public Library. They also promote the importance of the library to the future of the community as well as receive and encourage gifts, endowments, and requests for the library and funds for special needs beyond the command of the library budget.
Membership in the Organization is open to any interested adult and/or other organization.
Information concerning membership in the Friends of the Library and the group in general may be obtained through contacting the library. The library staff will put interested persons in touch with a member of the Friends.
The Friends of the Library are currently accepting donations of some of the BEST books. Please note the items thay are looking for. Donations are being accepted until April 25.
