Dinosaur Painting with Pop Up Art

Saturday, March 14 @ 2:00 – 3:30

Kids ages 8 and up are invited to explore their artistic side on Saturday, March 14th at 2:00 PM. An educator from the Pop Up Art School will be in the library to guide kids as they create their own unique dinosaur painting! In this fun painting program, kids will create an orange, spotted long-neck dinosaur happily munching on leafy greens against a vibrant green background. Along the way, young artists will explore color mixing, pattern, and brush techniques while adding their own creative details. There’s plenty of room for dinosaur lovers to add their own special touches, such as a volcano in the background or a silly hat! This program is funded by The Friends of the Library.

*Registration is required and begins on Wednesday, February 25th.

*Dress for a mess – this class uses acrylic paint which if it dries on clothing can be permanent. Please dress appropriately.
