Story Times
for our youngest readers
Aside from the Story Hours we offer in the Children’s Room, we are pleased to offer Lego Club, Crafternoons, Family Lego Nights and other fun events that happen (think Snowflake Workshop.) And we have plenty of games should you just want to hang with family and friends for an impromptu part of your day.

Registration for Story Hours
starts on Wednesday, September 2
Registration for the Tuesday Preschool Play Group, Wednesday Registered Toddler Time and Thursday Preschool Story Hour will start on Tuesday, September 2. We require walk-in registration for the first three days and will begin taking registrations over the phone or email beginning on Tuesday, September 8 for any spaces still available. Programs will start the week of September 14.

Monday Drop In Toddler Time
Any Monday we are open we have Drop In Toddler Time at 10:30. Toddler Time is 20 minutes of stories, songs, scarves, egg shakers and the Name Song. Toddler Time is perfect for newborns to age 3. No registration required- just drop on by and join the fun!

Preschool Playgroup
Tuesdays @ 11:15
First session runs from September 15 – October 27.
Join Miss Heidi for stories, songs, free play and more. This child and caregiver program is all about promoting literacy and socialization while making friends (of all ages) and having fun!

Registered Toddler Time
Wednesdays starting September 16 @ 10:30
Join Miss Amy for this 20 minutes of stories, songs, scarves, and egg shakers that is perfect for newborns to kids aged 3. Registration starts on Wednesday, September 2 and holds a spot for the 9 week session. We do walk in to the library registration for the first three days and take email or phone registrations for any spaces left starting September 8 . This program is funded by the Friends of the Library.
Space is limited and registration is required.

Registered Preschool Story Hour
Thursdays starting September 17 @ 11:15
Join Miss Amy for a storytime geared towards our preschool audience every Thursday this winter and spring. Preschool storytime is for children ages 3-5 who are able to separate from their parent/caregiver, sit, and listen to 3-4 longer stories for the first 25-30 minutes of the program. This 10-week session begins on September 17 Our story times are funded by the Friends of the Library.

Saturday Family Story Hours
Saturdays we are open starting Saturday, September 12 @ 11:00
Family Story Hour is a great way to end a busy morning and get ready for lunch. Join Miss Kim or one of our other Children’s Librarians for 20 – 30 minutes of stories and songs that we tailor to the group that attends. There is no need to register and we try to have this Family Story Hour any Saturday we are open. Family Story Hour is funded by the Friends of the Library.
