Story Times

for our youngest readers

Aside from the Story Hours we offer in the Children’s Room, we are pleased to offer Lego Club, Crafternoons, the Preschool Playgroup, Family Fun Nights and other fun events that happen (think Snowflake Workshop.) And we have plenty of games should you just want to hang with family and friends for an impromtu part of your day.

Any Monday Morning When We Are Open   

Drop In Toddler Time     10:30  

Monday Toddler TimesToddler  continues on Monday morning! Join Miss Sandy (or Miss Heidi or Mrs. Grimmett) on Monday morning at 10:30 AM for a few short stories, songs, puppet visits, egg shaking, and scarf waving. Toddler Time is a 20 minute program that is geared towards children ages newborn - 3. Monday Morning Toddler Time is drop in, no pre-registration required, but get a name sticker when you arrive.

Bedtime Stories     6:30

bedtime story hourBedtime Story Hour continues at the library! Kids ages 4 and up, who are able to separate from their parent/caregiver are invited to wear their coziest PJs, bring a stuffed animal friend, and join Miss Amy every Monday night at 6:30 PM.  ( PJs and stuffed namial friends are not required.) Bedtime Story Hour is thirty minutes of longer stories, songs, rhymes, and the chance to "Go Bananas!"  Bedtime Story Hour runs any Monday we are open and Miss Amy is here.  Our Story Hour programs are funded by the Friends of the Library. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Saturdays we are open
The last Family Storytime will be June 8 and we will be on summer hours after that.
(Summer Hours mean we are closed on Saturdays. All other hours remain the same.)

We are pleased to be able to offer Family Story Hours on Saturdays. While many will be lead by Miss Kim, don't be surprised to see Miss Amy, Miss Sandy, Mrs. Grimmett, or Miss Heidi in the mix. Family Story Hour is best for kids ages newborn to 5, but all are welcome to join the fun. We try to gear this time to the people who are there so besides some stories there may be songs, scarves, egg shakers or some Go Bananas. Registration is not required- just finish off your Saturday mornings with this fun visit to the library. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tuesdays

APL Preschool Story Group is on a Break. 

Information will be updated when available. 

Are you ready to have some fun?  Children ages 3-5 and their caregivers are welcome to join Miss Heidi for 45 minutes of free play, stories, songs and activities.  (Siblings are welcome.)  This is a registered ptogramn, but you are welcome to call and see about space availablity if you are not registered.

 

Tuesday Mornings

Preschool Story Hour returns for the summer, Summer Style. Wednesday mornings

Toddler Time  Summer Style    10:30
June 26 - August 14

Toddler Time returns for the summer at 10:30 Children ages 0-3 and their parent/caregiver are invited to join Miss Amy for 20 minutes of short stories, songs, rhymes, scarf waving, egg shaking, puppet visits, and a whole lot of fun!  Toddler Time on Wednesdays is also Summer Style- Drop In whenver you can to join the fun.  Our toddler times are funded by the Friends of the Library.
